Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 27, 2020 This policy describes what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle your data.
What data we collect
Plain and simple: we only collect the data that we need. Here’s what that actually means:
Your identity & access to our products
When you sign up, we ask for information used to identify you such as your name, farm name, email address and prefix. This lets you personalize your account and gives us some information to go on when performing certain searches. We’ll never use your name or company in marketing statements without your permission.
Billing information
When you sign up for a subscription to WhatBull, we ask for your credit card and a billing address. This is necessary so we can charge you for services, and send you invoices. Your credit card details are passed to our payment processor directly and never touches our servers. We only store a record of the payment transaction (which includes the last 4 digits of the card number and a billing address). Your billing address is stored to print invoices, calculate tax, and to prevent fraud.
IP Addresses
All access is logged by full IP address. This is to prevent attacks on our server and to protect against unauthorized access.
Analytics
Your browser will automatically share some information with us as you browse our pages, such as browser versions and operating systems. That information is tracked with the pages you visit to provide us with statistics we use to improve the performance of our products.
Cookies
We use persistent cookies to store your preferences, and make it easier for you to use our software. A cookie is a piece of data stored by your browser to remember your login information, user preferences, etc. These settings can be adjusted in your browser
Voluntary correspondence
When you contact WhatBull with a question or ask for help, we keep that correspondence, including the email address, so we can reference a history of contact if necessary.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect age, gender, race, religion, gender, physical or mental abilities or disabilities, or sexual orientation. We do not collect any biometric data.
